President: Ben, K8KTO
My name is Ben and I have been a licensed Ham since 2018. My original call sign was KE8KTO, but I shortened my call sign down to K8KTO in 2020. My interests in radio are operating various modes on VHF/UHF including SSB, FT8, and other digital modes. I also like to play around with QRP and get out into parks and do POTA activations from time to time.
My radios that I currently use are a Yaesu FT-991a, Yaesu FT-818nd, a Yaesu FT-2980R mobile, and a Yaesu FT-2DR portable. The HF antenna I use is a Wolf River Coil Silver Bullet 1000 antenna. My VHF/UHF home antenna is a homemade copper J-pole antenna that I constructed myself. I also have an Elk Log Periodic Antenna I can setup for directional work. As I am gaining more interest in VHF/UHF work I will be improving my home station setup.
I currently run a local net on 147.510MHz FM on Sunday nights at 9:00pm called the Hancock Simplex Net. It is a small net currently, but it is fun to test out equipment and switch to different modes on VHF to try out.
I also play around on DMR radio as well as Yaesu System Fusion.
I have a Youtube channel that I upload videos to when I feel that I have content worth posting, so please check that out.

First licensed in 2017 as a Technician, and made my way to Extra by early 2018. I enjoy most aspects of the hobby, however VHF+ and POTA are my biggest interests. I'm also a founding member of Ham Radio Adventures, the owner of "Hotels on the Air", and a staff member of the Ham Radio Crash Course Discord.
Like Evan, I'm a content creator as well, and below is a link to my TikTok.

I have been licensed since 2005. I am an avid hunter and activator of Parks On The Air. While I most enjoy operating radio from the field, I have started to take an interest in contesting as a way to improve my skills on the air.
I am also a content creator for all things radio, you can find my social media links here:

Licensed since early 2018, I have made my way to an Extra Class license, and I enjoy exploring the unconventional side of the hobby. I enjoy building antennas out of objects never intended to be radiated, working with uncommon bands (with a focus on VHF+), and teaching amateur radio license classes, as well as working as a Volunteer Examiner for several testing organizations across the country.
I hold an interest in Emergency Communications, working with commercial gear, and occasionally activating entities for Parks on the Air. When not playing radio, I work full time in IT, and assist many of my friends with the installation and maintenance of their HomeLab servers and networking.
